Half a day to build next year’s project-based plan, so you can kick off execution without delay in the new year.
Most business plans and subsequent annual plans aren’t built to be actionable. This is primarily a problem with the form of the classic plan which is descriptive rather than prescriptive. The Tradewinds Pilot business plan captures the essential “why” and the “what” and then equips you to develop the “hows” using a project based approach that maps your goals over the next year in qualitative and quantitative terms.
During this half-day workshop, using supplied models and templates, you will bring to life your goals and challenges for the next year. You’ll leave with a prioritized list of projects ready for you and your team to execute on in the coming year, and tied directly to the firm’s annual goals.
Ideal for the professional services firm because you already have expertise in completing projects.
This approach exapts that skill and applies it to the Internal Projects that move the business needs forward in focused and measurable ways – with the same scheduling, delegating, tracking, and accountability you apply to client work.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this course you should…
- Have an updated view of the current SWOT for your company, your past year’s results and changes, applied to your long-term plan.
- Have an annual plan framed out that goes beyond the “why” and the “what” to provide a project based “how” roadmap to accomplishing your annual goals.
- Have developed key project write ups to define the steps and investment (if any) associated with each goal-oriented project.
- Clearly- understand the relationship between your goals, projects, and financial results. (Not a theoretical but a practical understanding of how they’ll work together for you in the next year.)
- Be able to define and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPls) related to your plan and each related project, with confidence in your ability to measure and understand the results.
